beauty.

I'm really starting to see what a difficult world we teenage girls live in. It is so difficult already to be a teen, but with all of these tabloids, celebrities, etc. It is difficult to wake up and look in the mirror each day. Not that I don't think every girl is precious and is beautiful no matter what she looks like, I'm just saying to be honest, that we each criticize ourselves and our peers way too much. But what really are we striving to be here? perfect? I know we all know it doesn't exist, blah blah blah, but when you have a goal in mind each day when you do your hair and make up or nothing at all, what exactly are we looking for? what is our goal? I can tell you because I've been there. and i'm there right now. and i strive to be lookin good for the gentlemen. no lie, i look in the mirror all the time because i want one thing. every girl wants one thing, and that is:

beauty.
we all know it too.
we just don't want to admit it.
because we think we are shallow.
your not.
no one is.
you love you because you are you.
i love me, because im me.
I'm awkwardly tall. 5'10.5" to be exact.
I have blonde hair.
blue eyes.
hourglass figure.
acne.
lots of cover-up.
but i love me.
and my body.
and you should too.
i know, its a crazy thought right?
that we should all love our bodies?
we should.
we shouldn't be striving so much to be someone else.
who?
the grass is always greener on the other side, right?
but what happens when you get there?
oh, thats right, you meant the OTHER GREEN GRASS.
i speak the truth when i say,
i love what you look like,
as long as you do,
so accept you
and what you are
because you are beautiful.
